Naomi C. (Dale) Hacker, 86, widow of Willard Hacker, Sr., of Pennsburg and formerly a longtime resident of Third Street, East Greenville, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at LifeQuest Nursing Center, Quakertown.
Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late William and Carrie Dale.
She worked as a production worker at SOS Products in East Greenville for many years before retiring. She also had worked at Plummer Precision Optics in Pennsburg and Perkiomen Knitting Mill in East Greenville.
Naomi was a longtime member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ and also the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Mary Lou, wife of Wayne Fritz of Millsboro, DE, Patsy L. Hacker of Pennsburg and Willard Hacker, Jr. and wife, Bonnie of East Greenville; a brother, William of Tamaqua; a sister, Marvalene; six grandchildren, Thomas Schuler, Jr., Crystal Frey, Todd Hacker, April Hacker, Holly Hacker and Kyle Hacker and 3 great grandchildren, Tyler and Jared Frey and Alex Rutherford. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer J. Hacker.
Services were private at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville is in charge of the arrangements. Burial followed in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery.
