Naomi Criblear

December 19, 1920 — June 8, 2011

Naomi M. (Geiger) Criblear, 90, widow of John C. Criblear, formerly of Stauffer Road, Bechtelsville, died June 8, 2011 at Independence Court.

Born in Trumbauersville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Carrie (Yost) Geiger.

She worked as an upholsterer at Knoll Inc. in East Greenville for over 20 years retiring in 1985 and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sumneytown.

Surviving are five children, Joan Marinello and Jean Styer, both of Florida, Lillian, wife of Daniel Schaffer of Sassamansville, Barry Criblear and wife, Judith of Gilbertsville and Terry Criblear of Eschbach; a brother, Floyd Geiger of Genesee; a sister, Jeanette Shelly of Quakertown; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, John Criblear and siblings, Helen, Dorothy, Alverda, Mabel, Viola, Harold, Russell and Pauline.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Susan Lynch officiating. Interment is in Frieden’s Union Cemetery.
