Nancy R. (Gilbert) Schott, 74, wife of W. Stanford, whom she had been married to for 54 years in May, of Old Mill Rd., Barto, died on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Pottstown Memorial Hospital.
Born in Sigmound, PA she was a daughter of the late Norman and Ellen (Roth) Gilbert.
She was a secretary for many years for Kelly Services and Rodale Manufacturing and then a sewing machine operator for several years for Perkiomen Knitting Mills retiring in the 1980’s. She was a loving mother and homemaker in her later years.
She was a 1954 graduate of Emmaus High School.
She was a member of Huff’s Church, Huff’s Church, PA.
Surviving along with her husband is a daughter, Deborah Ann Schott and companion, Larry L. Kriebel of Emmaus, three brothers, Lester Gilbert of Sigmound, William Gilbert and wife, Geraldine of Palm and Ronald Gilbert of Sigmound; two sisters, Betty Gerhard of Bally and Marian Hregician and husband, Steve of Kempton.
She was predeceased by a sister, May Gilbert.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11:00 a.m. in the church.
Contributions may be made in her memory to Huff’s Union Church Building Fund.
