Nancy Jane (Bossert) Petroski, 72, wife of Stanley J. Petroski, of Perkiomenville, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at home.
Born in Sumneytown, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Sarah (Kolb) Bossert.
She was a graduate of Schwenksville High School and Empire Beauty School, where she received her license in Cosmetology.
Nancy worked for over 55 years at Nancy’s Beauty Salon, which was located in her home. She was very dedicated to her clients and often would go to their homes when they were unable to come to the salon. She and her husband, Stan, loved to sell Christmas trees from their tree farm in the front yard of their home during the Holiday Season.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown.
Nancy enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 51 years are four children, Alfred “Al” Petroski and his companion, Anita Santangelo of Green Lane; Sheryl, wife of Matthew Soffa of Bechtelsville; Tracy, wife of Christopher Jefferis of Lewes, DE and LeeAnn, wife of John Burke of Gilbertsville; two brothers, Harvey Bossert, Jr. and his wife, Darlene of Green Lane and John Bossert and his wife, Carol of East Greenville; five granddaughters, Teresa, Trisha, Sarah, Leslie and Chelsea.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA with Rev. James Roth Officiating.
