Nancy Jo (Wilkins) Grim, 80, widow of Daniel J. Grim, formerly of Barto, PA, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Chestnut Knoll in Boyertown, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Watson W. and Myrtle V. (Faut) Wilkins.
Nancy was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and worked at Bally Ribbon Mills. She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville, PA where she helped in elder care.
She did volunteer work with Grand View Hospice and enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her two daughters, Joann E., wife of Kenneth Lafferty of Woodbridge, VA and Carol L., wife of Brian J. DeHaven of Gilbertsville, PA; three grandchildren, Laura C., wife of John Giannini, Jacob D. Dehaven and wife, Alex, and Kaitlyn J. DeHaven; two great-grandchildren, Ryan M. and Sarah B. Giannini; and her sister, Patricia A. Miller of Boyertown, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a grandson, Joshua A. DeHaven.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA.
