Mildred E. “Mickey” (Zepp) Smith, 82, widow of Robert E. Smith, of Green Lane, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Denver, PA.
Born in Zeiglerville, PA she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Elva (Bytheway) Zepp.
Mickey was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sumneytown; Upper Perkiomen Business and Professional Women’s Club, a life member of Green Lane Fire Co. and Ladies Auxiliary, and an EMT for Green Lane ambulance. She was a retired postmaster of Green Lane Post Office.
Surviving are her daughters, Bobbi, wife of Don Stoneback of Denver, PA and Debbie, wife of Dave Romig of Oley, PA;; grandchildren Gregg, Glenn, Shelby and Shana; great-grandchildren Rayne, Eden, Regan and Claire. She was predeceased by one great-granddaughter Laney.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon, on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA, Rev. Rebecca Eisenhart officiating. Burial follows in Frieden’s Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 11:00 to Noon, Wednesday at the funeral home.
