Mary E. (Mathias) Weller, 82, widow of Russell N. Weller, of Boyertown, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Sanatoga Center, Pottstown, PA.
Born in Sassmansville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Beulah H. (Benfield) Mathias.
She worked as a school bus driver for 36 years for the Boyertown School District. Mary was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sassmansville, PA. She loved to work outside, play cards, listen to county music and attend country western shows.
Surviving are her two sons Leonard L. Weller and his wife, Sandra of Green Lane, PA and Gary D. Weller and his wife, Marilee of Pottstown, PA; a brother, Lester B. Mathias of Bechtelsville, PA; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother David Mathias.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. George M. Harppel officiating. Burial follows in Hill Church Cemetery, Boyertown, PA. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
