Mary E. (Fox) Greulich, 88, widow of Charles B. Greulich, of Barto died on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Percival and Erma (Urffer) Fox.
She was a 1942 graduate of Pennsburg High School and was employed as an Examiner for Great American Knitting Mill in Bally for 14 years retiring in 1987.
She was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where she had been a member of the church choir for many years. She loved to embroider and vacation in Florida
Surviving are three sons, Charles F. Greulich of Barto, Thomas F. Greulich of Boyertown and Frederick F. Greulich and companion, Ruth Streetman of Sarasota, FL; three brothers, Robert Fox and wife, Mildred of Stuart, FL, Harold Fox and wife, Jean of Red Hill and Donald Fox, widower of Edna of Pennsburg; four sisters, Margaret, wife of Leon Pennepacker, Ann, widow of Donald Bauman and Marlene, wife of Richard Bieler all of East Greenville and Marian, wife of Roy Stevens of Pennsburg. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by siblings, Esther Hallman, Bessie Kolb and Linwood Fox.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main Street, Pennsburg with the Rev. Charles E. Romanowski officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. A private burial will be held at a later date. At her request she donated her body to the Humanity Gifts Registry (University of Pennsylvania).
