Mary A. (Neville) Gest, 76, of Pennsburg, passed away in the comfort of her home on Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late George F. Gest, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage before his passing in 2021.
Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Neville and Theresa (Pier) Holmes.
Mary held many roles throughout her life. She drove a school van in Somerville, NJ for seven years, was a cook, and also a substitute teacher at Darts Mill Daycare Center in Flemington, NJ. She was always dedicated to children and their early education.
Above all, Mary devoted most of her time to her family and church family at Grace Gospel Chapel in Plumsteadville. She was a loving selfless person who always cared for others.
Surviving are her 10 siblings: Robert Neville, Kathleen Coppinger, Patricia Petanko, Theresa Dobrowski, John Holmes, Cynthia Triandafilou, Gary Neville, David Neville, Wayne Neville and Richard Neville; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Neville, Jr.
A graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
