Mary B. (Bauman) Fox, 91, widow of Linwood P. Fox, of Quakertown, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.
Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late John and Elsie (Renninger) Bauman.
She was a secretary for 12 years at the Upper Bucks Vocational Technical School retiring in 1984. Prior to that she was a secretary for the Quakertown Elementary Schools. She also was an organist at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg for many years and was a volunteer in the Gift Shop at St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and will be sadly missed by her church family and many close friends as well as her own family.
Surviving are three children, Mary Lynn, wife of Joseph Gluck, Jr. of Quakertown, Michael S. Fox and wife, Nancy of Simpsonville, SC and Susan E., wife of Perry Young of Quakertown; a brother, Ernest Bauman of Frederick; 4 grandchildren, Denise, wife of Eric Fox, Dennis Gluck, Leslie Norris and Krista Keller, six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Clarence, Paul, Robert and Alton Bauman, sisters, Viola Huber and June Custer and grandchildren, Aaron Young and Mary Williams.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 102 N. Hellertown Avenue, Quakertown PA 18951 with the Rev. Lynette R. Chapman officiating. Burial follows in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 .am. at the church.
