Mary (Rundle) Brunner Lichtenwalner, 94, widow of Joseph Brunner and Walter Lichtenwalner, of Quakertown, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at her home.
Born in Bath, PA she was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Redline) Rundle.
Mary worked as a nurse’s aide for Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for many years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg; and often attended a Mennonite church in Shimerville, PA.
Surviving are her six children, Joseph Brunner; Joyce Simms, George Brunner; Donald Brunner; Mary Behney; and Wayne Brunner; eight siblings; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Christopher Brunner, seven siblings and a grandson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Reverend Charles A. Romanowski officiating. There will be a viewing from 10 until 11 am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg.
