Mark J. Meinzer, of Pennsburg, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Lankenau Medical Center. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia A. Meinzer.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Anne Marie (Fuller) Meinzer, Jr.
Mark earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Tech and was employed at AT&T as an I.T. Support Computer Programmer. He also was a graduate of St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Seminary in Wynnewood, PA and provided his ministerial duties as an ordained Deacon at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church in Pennsburg. He also offered comfort and grief advice to the parishioners of St. Philip Neri who lost loved ones.
Mark was also a member of the Knight of Columbus Local Council 6614.
Mark found enjoyment in sharing his love for his model trains with his nieces, nephews and extended family at Christmas and was also known to collect a variety of memorabilia.
Surviving are his two brothers, Gregory A. Meinzer and wife, Mary Jo of Lancaster County and Christopher H. Meinzer, Esq. and wife, Christina Marie of Green Lane; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 20th 2022 at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073. A burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Organ Fund Project of St. Philip Neri R.C. Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA
