Marjorie J. (Johnson) Saeger, 82, a 60 year resident of Red Hill, died February 14, 2012 at her home. She was the widow of Lloyd Thomas Saeger, Jr.
Born in Lansdale, she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Suplee) Johnson.
She was an Assistant Supervisor of Nursing at Merck for 24 years retiring 1992. Prior to that she worked as
a Private Duty Nurse at Pottstown Hospital.
She was a 1947 Graduate of Lansdale High School and a 1950 graduate of Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing in Norristown where she received her Registered Nurse degree.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill and the Upper Perkiomen Valley Women’s Club and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and at the Community Thrift Shop.
Surviving are four children, Robert T. Saeger of Black Forest; Patricia Ann Saeger of Walterboro, SC; Scott W. Saeger of Perkasie and Jane Saeger of Hatfield; four grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Blaec and Zackery Saeger and Amanda Bublitz and 4 great grandchildren, Nick, Tommy, Zane and Peyton Saeger. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Cook and Dorothy Deavers and a granddaughter, Shea Saeger.
