Marion E. (Krauss) Weikel, 78, widow of Carl B. Weikel, formerly of East Greenville, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Lehigh Center.
Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Catherine S. (Smith) Krauss.
She retired after working many years as a tire builder at the former Firestone in Pottstown and assisted at Walter Wlazelek Auction Gallery in Macungie for many years.
She was a lifelong member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ. She was a former member of the American Legion Post #184 Ladies Auxiliary, East Greenville and the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
She will be sadly missed by her two sisters, Marie Sell of East Greenville and Marlene Gehman of Telford and four nephews and their families.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville with the Rev. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to10:30 a.m. at church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
