Marion Horner

October 5, 1919 — July 31, 2013

Marion V. (Sacks) Horner, 93, widow of Luke W. Horner, of Whitehall, passed away July 31, 2013 in Fellowship Manor.

Born in Woxall, PA, she was a daughter of the late Carrie R. (Young) and Jay Wright Sacks.

She was a music teacher and church organist for many years and attended Fellowship Community Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna, wife of Robert Kieffer of Bethlehem and Carol, wife of Donald Kuklinski of Whitehall; two sisters, Evelyn Paul of Lewisburg and Nancy Sacks of Whitehall; 10 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a daughter, Lorretta Breisch; siblings, Wright Sacks, Kathryn Kibblehouse and Carolyn Slonaker and a grandson, Ronald J. Clader.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Philip Yerrington officiating. Burial follows in Salem United Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
