Marion J. Henry
Marion J. (Swenk) Henry, 90, of Pennsburg and formerly of Main Street, Red Hill died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of late Thomas P. Henry, Jr.
Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Pearl (Hoffman) Swenk.
She was a school crossing guard for many years for the Red Hill Elementary School. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill and loved quilting, reading, counted cross stitching and volunteered for many years at the Election Polls in Red Hill.
Surviving are her son, Thomas S. Henry and wife, Ann of East Greenville; grandchildren, Heather A. Henry of Pottstown, and Kristofer E. Henry and wife, Lynn Robinson of Lyndeborough, N.H.; a sister, Vera Boykin of East Greenville.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, with Rev. William A. Vanderslice officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home to visit one prior from 10:00 to 11:00 on Friday. Burial will follow in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg.
