Marion R. (Booz) Bauer, 89, widow of Lawrence H. Bauer, of Barto died August 13, 2012 at home.
Born in Telford, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Stella (Nase) Booz.
In her earlier years, she worked as a seamstress at various knitting mills and at Bally Ribbon Mill. She enjoyed baking and making cakes for the Bethlehem Steel workers. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
Surviving are five children, Anna M. Miller of Boyertown, Carol A. Puhl and husband, Bob of Alburtis, Francis P. Bauer of Barto, Dorothy J. Davis and husband, Bill of Salem, NJ and Donald J. Bauer of Barto; brother, Robert Booz of Telford; sisters, Nancy Nace of Green Lane and Shirley Nace of Lykens; grandchildren, Beverly Selby, Chad Bauer, Michele LeBlanc and Tara Hornak and great grandchildren, Taylor and Trent LeBlanc and Emiliano and Calista Hornak.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sons, Edward and Richard Bauer; a brother, Charles Booz and a sister, Bertha Heckler.
A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, PA 19503 with the Msgr. Edward J. Coyle officiating. Family and friends are invited to a viewing at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Arrangements are by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
