Marie E. Hausman

Marie E. Hausman, 91, widow of Donald E. Hausman, a beloved member of the Amityville community, peacefully passed away on October 25, 2024, at Amity Place. 

Marie was born on February 10, 1933, a daughter of the late Winfield Scott "Schley" and Alice Marie (Yocom) Kutz. She was a graduate of Amity High School and the McCann School of Business. Working alongside her husband Donald, Marie was a dedicated bookkeeper and treasurer for Donald E. Hausman Electrical Contractor.

Marie was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Amityville, PA, where she served as a former Consistory President, Sunday School Teacher, and a devoted volunteer for events including the Turkey Supper and Peach Festival. Her commitment and contributions to the church community will always be cherished and remembered.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by brothers, Samuel Albert Kutz and Stauffer Yocom Kutz.

A Visitation will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 1979 Weavertown Rd., Douglassville, PA 19518 on Monday, November 4, 2024, starting at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am with her pastor, Rev. Steven Simpson officiating. Entombment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's U.C.C at the above address.
