Marian I. (Frederick) Wlajnitz, 79, wife of the late Stephen F. Wlajnitz, Sr., of Bechtelsville, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.
Born in Montgomery Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Mamie (Schoenly) Frederick.
She worked for over 25 years as a Quiller for the former Bally Ribbon Mill.
Marian was a member of Pike Twp. Sportsman’s Assoc., Oley. She spent weekends at Grandview Speedway and loved stock car racing, Phillies and animals.
Surviving are her children, Linda, wife of Thomas Kramer, Barto; Stephen L. Wlajnitz, Jr., Bechtelsville; Dawn, wife of Edwin Willard, West Chester; siblings, Mildred, Frederick, Gilbertsville; Eva Egolf, Reading; William Frederick and wife, Delores; Boyertown; and Gerald Frederick and wife, Janet, Bally; two granddaughters, Amanda, fiancé of Daniel and Stephanie, fiancé of Justen. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra A. Wlajnitz.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Dr. Barry L. Moyer officiating. Burial will be held in Hill Church Cemetery, Boyertown. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
