Marian K. (Benner) Berstler, 90, formerly of Red Hill, PA died on Thursday, May 6, 2010 in Manor Care Nursing Home, Lansdale, PA. She was the widow of Wilbur F. Berstler who passed away on July 28, 1983.
Born in Hatfield, PA she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Estralia (Frederick) Benner.
She worked as a Packer in the Production Department at Stauffer Glove Factory in Red Hill for 20 years retiring in 1992.
She was a member of Ridge Valley United Church of Christ. She was a wonderful mother and sister, loved flea markets and yard sales, playing bingo and she was also well known for her wonderful homemade Chicken Pot Pie.
Surviving is a son, Robert F. Berstler of Sellersville and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and George Benner and three sisters, Myrtle Atwood, Irene Wilson and Blanche Benner.
A Graveside Funeral Service and Interment was held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010 in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends attended a viewing at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA prior to the service.
