Margaret Vecchione

Margaret C. (Levy) Vecchione, 89, of Schwenksville, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Domenic Vecchione, Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Christine (Dehaven) Levy.

Margaret was a seamstress for Shaner’s Perkiomen Knitting Mill in East Greenville for many years. She also volunteered for the Pottstown Meals on Wheels, volunteered in the soup kitchen for Community Meal in Pottstown and helped with mission projects at the Heidelberg UCC in Schwenksville.

Surviving are her six grandchildren, Angela Colon and husband, Ed, Andrea Robinson and husband, Jimmy, Keith Gerhart and wife, Audrey, Autumn Trumbauer and husband, Timothy, Amanda Trumbauer and Gary Juck, Jr. and wife, Christine; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her two children, Domenic Vecchione, Jr. and Christine Juck; three great-grandchildren; and 11 siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 12-12:45 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
