Margaret M. “Marge” (Maguire) Gross, 63, of Souderton, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of Timothy S. Gross celebrating 14 years of marriage on May 23rd.
Born in Monaghan, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Eileen Maguire and foster daughter of the late Catherine Bradley.
She worked as an Inspector at Green Tweed in Kulpsville for 9 years retiring in 2005. She also worked 13 years at American Olean Tile in Lansdale.
She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir and enjoyed taking care of the gardens and planting flowers around the church.
Surviving along with her husband are two sons, Ed Tucker of Sumneytown and Shawn Tucker of Green Lane; a daughter, Bernadette Abdill and her husband, Charles of Jasper, NY; step-son, Scott Gross of Souderton; a sister, Pat McCann and her husband, John of Chalfont and three grandchildren, Cynthia Tucker and Dominic and Harry Abdill.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville with the Rev. Dr. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
