Margaret Bolen, 98, of Frederick Living, formerly of Huffs Church, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was the wife of the late Robert Bolen, who passed away in 1973.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Lena (Ramminger) Dardine Scheussler and Peter Dardine and the step-daughter of John Scheussler.
She worked for many years in the manufacturing facilities in Bally, including Bally Ribbon Mill. She was a member of Huffs Union Church in the village of Huffs Church.
Margaret loved little children, especially her great-grandchildren, and animals, especially her cat, “Speedy”.
She is survived by her daughter, Bertha, wife of David Crum; her son, Robert Bolen and wife, Christine; her two granddaughters, Mychelle Crum Smith and Vermonica Crum; two grandsons, Nile Bolen and wife, Constance and Lee Bolen and wife, Rani and great-grandchildren, Logan Crum, Nayana, Anjali, Elsabeth and John Robert Bolen.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a grandson, David Crum.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Huffs Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Interment will follow in Huffs Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
