Louis C. “Chris” Papera, 73, of Aspen Circle, Red Hill and formerly of Telford, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of the late Josephine R. (Lupo) Papera who passed away on June 18, 2007.
Born in Passaic, New Jersey, he was a son of the late John Joseph and Lois (Pierson) Papera.
He was a Logistics Assistant II for Drager Medical in Telford for the past 21 years.
He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge in Sellersville and a former member of the Lions Club.
Surviving are four children, Christina A., wife of Keith Gebely of Las Vegas, NV, Susan M., wife of Craig Thompson of Telford, PA, Judy A., wife of Steve Rothenberger of East Greenville, PA and John J. Papera and wife, Rachel of Omaha, NE; two sisters, Lois Ann “Penny”, wife of Richard Barlotta of Ramsey, NJ and Susan Papera-Ewing, wife of William of New Milford, NJ and six grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Marano, Molly and Garrett Thompson and Evan and Riley Papera.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. There will be no calling hour.
