Lotta Heidler

October 29, 1914 — November 25, 2012

Lotta (Miller) Heidler, 98, widow of Lester L. Heidler, of Telford and formerly of Jefferson Street, East Greenville, died on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Grand View Hospital.

Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late H. Alden and Lara E. (Sames) Miller.

She worked as a cafeteria worker for 25 years for the Upper Perkiomen School District retiring in 1980.

Lotta was a lifelong member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. She was an active member of the American Legion Post #184 of East Greenville and a volunteer for the Blood Mobile and the Community Thrift Shop.

Surviving is a son, L. Donald Heidler and wife, Joan of Harleysville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son Gerald R. Heidler and his late wife, Joan.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
