Lorrie A. (Bossert) Wolf, 52, of Pennsburg, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Grand View Hospital. She was the wife of Michael R. Wolf celebrating 31 years of marriage on April 11, 2012.
Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Evelyn M. (Runner) Bossert.
She was employed for the past 15 years as a Medical Billing Specialist for Stoneridge OB Gyn in Sellersville and had previously worked many years at Harleysville Insurance.
She was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for ten years and was an active with the church youth groups. She was always an active volunteer for anything related to her daughter’s sports and community activities.
Surviving along with her husband are two daughters, Aubrey L., wife of Josh Clevenstine and Melanie K. Wolf, all at home and two sisters, Lynne M., wife of Stephen Thrash of Palm Bay, Florida and Kay J., wife of Donald Merkel of North Wales.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sumneytown with Rev. Dr. John Berntsen officiating. Interment follows in Frieden’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA.
