Lillian Houseknecht

February 14, 1920 — May 4, 2020

Lillian R. Houseknecht of Pennsburg, formerly of Emmaus, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Pennsburg Manor. She celebrated her 100th birthday on February 14.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Howard C. and Jennie M. (Berger) Houseknecht.

Lillian was a sewing machine operator for several garment factories in the Upper Perkiomen Valley and was a faithful member of Salem United Methodist Church in Zionsville, where she was involved with the Ladies Willing Workers.


She is survived by many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and is predeceased by siblings, Bessie Spencer, Marian Keller, Estelle Howell, Charles, Willis, Paul and Earl Houseknecht
