Lidwina Apollonia (Reger) Marks, 84, of East Greenville, better known as “Muschi” to family and friends, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was the widow of Nelson Paul Marks, who passed away in 2006.
She was born in Grafenwohr, Germany to Wilhelm and Anna (Ilg) Reger.
Lidwina was an assembler at Knoll Inc for 29 years until her retirement in 1997. Prior to that, she worked at the former Wissmer Pants Factory in Pennsburg for four years as a sewing machine operator.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg, the Upper Perk Senior Citizens Center in East Greenville, the American Legion Post 184 Ladies Auxiliary, the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies Auxilary, the 8 and 40 club No. 554 and participated in the Legion Ladies bowling on Wednesdays and later the Senior League at the East Greenville Fire Company.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Marks; her daughter, Cindy Marks and companion, Bill Harrison; a granddaughter, Leah Marks; Sisters in law, Miriam Laudenslager and Cozi Reger; and a brother in law, Dale Marks and wife, Marion.
She is predeceased by her two brothers, Walter and Willy Reger.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on August 10, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Tina Mackie officiating.
