LeRoy G. Smith, 76, husband of Nancy Lee (Russell) Smith, of East Greenville, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.
Born in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Robert Franklin and Elsie Mae (Slingluff) Smith.
After graduating from high school, LeRoy then served in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed residential Electrician.
LeRoy was a member of the VFW Post #5954 in Red Hill, the Red Hill Fire Company, and the American Legion Post #184 in Palm.
He will be sadly missed by his wife; children, Tina M. Shelly and her husband, James of Quakertown, Tracey L. Fenley of Coopersburg, LeRoy T. Smith of East Greenville, and Travis L. Smith and his wife, Allison of East Greenville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Frank, Gilbert, and George, and sisters, Joan, Sarah, Virginia, Linda, Estele, and Dee. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, Reds, Henry, Jim and Robert, and sister, Roberta.
