Leonard G. Kelsch, 73, of Barto, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his home.
Born in Bally on April 11, 1947, he was one of twelve siblings born to the late Paul and Mary (Minner) Kelsch.
He was a graduate of Boyertown High School, honorably served his country in the United
States Marine Corps and then was employed with Dana Corporation as a welder for 30 years before retiring.
Leonard was known to be a “workaholic” but always found and enjoyed time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting in his earlier years.
Surviving are his two children, Jessica Richardson and husband, Christopher and Steven Kelsch and wife, Jennifer; four grandchildren, Ava and Natalie Richardson and Matthew and Hailey Kelsch; a brother, David; and seven sisters, Marita, Roselynn, Maryann, Theresa, Grace, Gloria and Jean.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, Paul and Francis; and a sister, Anita.
Due to the unprecedented circumstances presented by the COVID-19, Leonard’s service will be private. He will be honored with a Military service and be laid to rest at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church Cemetery.
