Lenore (Hoffman) Stauffer, 83, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 in her home. She was the wife of Wallace C. Stauffer celebrating 60 years of marriage in April 2012.
Lenore was born in Barto, PA and was the daughter of the late Edgar and Annie (Kriebel) Hoffman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Horace and Robert, along with her sisters, Ruba, Mae, and Erma.
Lenore was a 1947 graduate of Boyertown High School and was a lifelong member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church. She really loved her family and friends. Her interests included tennis, gardening, traveling and cooking for her grandchildren.
Surviving along with her husband, Wallace, are two sons, W. Randall, and his wife Joi, and Jeffrey R. and his wife, Luanne; and five grandchildren, Kelly, wife of Kenneth Zaborowski, Megan, wife of Matthew Lindley, Ryan Stauffer and wife, Jennifer Doyle, Brandon Stauffer and fiancée, Claire Sundquist, and Randall Stauffer and fiancée, Alison Eaves.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm with Rev. Nicholas L. Pence officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. A private family burial will be held.
