Lee J. Miller, 52, of Gilbertsville, PA, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. He was the loving and devoted husband of Laura J. (Tovcimak) Miller, sharing 24 years of marriage together and they were together for almost 30 years.
Born at Fort Dix in New Jersey, he was the son of Marie (Gossmann) Miller of Buckeye, AZ.
Lee was a graduate of Lenape High School in Medford, NJ and attended the Coast Guard Academy and Penn State University. He was currently employed at Sungard Availability Services in Philadelphia as an Operations Manager where he worked for over 20 years. He was a member of LA Fitness in Pottstown, where he enjoyed weight lifting and socializing with his many gym friends.
Lee met his wife on a snowy evening in February night at Penn State. They clicked immediately and married on May 18, 1998. Next year they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and had planned to go to Italy.
Lee ran track in High School and loved that Max took an interest in the same sport. He cherished going to his meets and cheering him on. During the fall Lee loved college football, especially Penn State. During the summer he loved chilling out in his pool and cooking on the grill or smoker. He was a huge foodie and loved trying new restaurants and recipes. He also loved to travel and almost every vacation he took his family on was to an amazing beach where he enjoyed quiet time watching the waves or renting a boat and going fishing. Above all, he loved being a father to his two amazing children, Max and Alexa Miller. He was their biggest fan and supporter.
In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by a brother, Gilbert Miller; a sister, Dana Bonitez; two aunts, Christa Noller and Liz Baeringer; cousins, Laurie Schrauger, Billy Noller, Christina Love, John Baeringer and Jeannie Smith; parents-in-law, Michael and Anne Tovcimak, Sr.; and brother-in-law, Michael Tovcimak, Jr.
