Laurel M. “Laurie” (Dyke) Phillips, 68, wife of Robert G. Phillips, of Quakertown and formerly of Harleysville, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at home.
Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the Kermit R. Dyke, Sr., Solomon Island, MD and Elsie M. (Reade) widow of William “Bill” Reid, Telford, PA.
She was a secretary for Univest Insurance, Lansdale.
She was a member of Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, Woxall, PA.
Surviving in addition to her parents and husband of 31 years, are her children, Dawn R., wife of Brent Moyer, Harleysville; James R. Nolan and wife, Celese, Millville, NJ; and Sarah K., wife of Darrin Trocine, Quakertown; a brother, Kermit R. Dyke and wife, Martha, Westfield, NJ; and 7 grandchildren, Cory; Lauren; Eden; Trevor; Vivienne; Luca and Sadie.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2103 at Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, 2092 Church Rd, Woxall, PA 18979 with Rev. John Fanella officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Friday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
