Larry Trumbore

March 28, 1922 — January 17, 2013

Larry M. “Skeets” Trumbore, 90, husband of Barbara J. (Fogel) Trumbore, of Pennsburg, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 in his home. He and his wife would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on October 28th.

Born in Souderton, he was a son of the late Russell and Mamie (Blank) Trumbore.

He worked at Knoll Inc. for many years before retiring in 1992.

He was a proud veteran of the US Army serving as a Sergeant in World War II and earning five bronze stars.
He was a 68 year member of the Souderton Legion and had attended over 60 Army Reunions.

He was a 1939 graduate and three sport athlete of Souderton High School. He went on to coach baseball for over 35 years to include teams with the Souderton Legion, taking them to 3 state playoffs, the Upper Perkiomen Junior Legion and Upper Perkiomen Youth Baseball. He also was an avid fisherman and golfer.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, Mary deAngeli of Germantown, TN, Larry M. Trumbore, Jr. and wife, Kim of Novi, MI and Shawn Bunting and husband, Steven of Lower Gwynedd; eight grandchildren, Kenton and Katherine deAngeli, Sarah, Matthew and Laura Trumbore and Craig, Jacqueline and Eric Bunting and five sisters and a brother. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
