Kenneth Einsele

June 17, 1952 — April 22, 2020

On April 22, 2020 Kenneth Karl Einsele passed from this life to be with Jesus, in his Heavenly Father’s Home, after a prolonged hospitalization in Blake Medical Center, Bradenton Florida, due to complications of his ongoing medical condition.

Ken was born June 17, 1952, in Sellersville, Pa. to the late Karl Einsele Jr., and Meredith Ann Haines Einsele Jones and was a brother to the late John F. Einsele.
Ken was a 1970 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. He served in the Marine Corp. with the 2ND Recon Battalion, during the Vietnam War.

In 1974 Ken survived a spinal cord injury in an auto accident. Against all odds Ken got himself up and walked despite his doctor’s prognosis.

Ken moved to Florida to live with his Aunt Lil and his cousin Erik Claxton. He enrolled in Sarasota Vo Tech, and with strength, determination, and dedication received a degree in drafting.

October 1988 Ken was hired by the Manatee County Public Works Department, Engineering Division. He enrolled in classes at Manatee Community College with courses paralleling his employment with Manatee County. With hard work and diligence, he worked his way up to Senior Engineering Technician. In August of 1998 Ken was voted Employee of the Month by the Board of County Commissioners, Manatee County, Florida. Ken was a valued employee of Manatee County for twenty-three years.

Ken has always been a strong friendly guy full of humor seeing the best in everyone and ready to help family and friends right up to his last days.

Ken is survived by his son James K. Fogel and wife Jodie and grandsons Julien, and Triston; his sister, Sherry Bricker and husband Douglas; nieces, Corrine Carl husband Nick; Heather Ursu Thomas; nephew, John Einsele Jr. and wife Liz; great nephews, Jacob, Lucas and Johnny D.; great nieces, Leah, Nevaeh and Marilyn; and his his Aunt Lillian Claxton, her son Erik and his wife Kristen and children, Airelle, Kyla and Erik, and other Aunts and Cousins and by his many friends in Florida and Pennsylvania.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11 AM at Huff's Union Cemetery, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA.
