Kathlene A. (Stitt) Frankenfield, 68, wife of Larry A. Frankenfield, of Palm, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her home in Palm.
Born in Chester PA, she was a daughter of the late Irvin B. and Elnora (Colyer) Stitt.
She was a clerk at the US Postal Service for 27 years before retiring.
She was a lifelong member of Bethany E.C. Church of Clayton where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and on the Official Board.
Kathlene is survived by seven children, Wendy A., wife of Joseph Sheetz, Kathlene I., wife of Glenn Weisel, Tammy L., wife of Doug Crossin, Brenda L., wife of Jed Mayk, Sandra E., wife of Jay Hunsberger, Tina D. Simmons, Larry A. Frankenfield Jr. and wife, Kelly; one brother, Robert W. Stitt husband of Colette; one sister, Virginia, wife of Ron Kinsey; one sister-in-law, Kathleen, wife of Don Harger; sixteen grandchildren, Karissa Weisel, James Crossin, Samantha Simmons, Cody Weisel, Holly Crossin, Delaney Sheetz, Devon Crossin, Gavin Simmons, Casey Sheetz, Xander Simmons, Caroline Mayk, Spencer Simmons, Erin Mayk, Robbie Frankenfield, Natalie Frankenfield, Sadie Frankenfield; and one great-grandson, Emmett Ocasio. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, John Stitt, and Boyd Stitt.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Bethany E.C. Church of Clayton, 14 Church Hill Road, Barto, PA with Rev. Dennis Brubacher officiating. Burial is in Bethany E.C. Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10 am until 11 am Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Ministries of Truth for Women, 3400 Bath Pike Suite 110, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
