Karin Y. (Flike) Hilbert, 75, of East Greenville, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Grand View Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Charles H. Hilbert, sharing 30 years of marriage before his passing in 2018.
Born in Germany, she was the daughter of Natalie (Flike).
Karin was a CNA at Pennsburg Manor for over 25 years before retiring. She lived life simply, without pretense, and loved her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed doing puzzles and was an avid reader; she particularly loved books about the Amish. She loved driving around Lancaster and observing the lifestyle in which the Amish lived their lives. She was also a lover and advocate for animals.
Surviving are her three daughters, Michellie Hufford of East Greenville, PA, Danielle Devine and husband, David of Pennsburg, PA, and Jennifer Hilbert and fiancé, Roy Saudarg of Douglassville, PA; her step-daughter, Angel Hilbert-Kesterke and husband, Kim of Branford, FL; grandchildren, Ryan Devine, Colt Saudarg, Kaleb Saudarg, and Makayla Saudarg; and a brother, Udo Hofel. She is also survived by her close friends, Joe and Pat Messa; best friend, Mary Lawrence; adopted daughter, Kelsi Foraker; and her beloved cat, Charlie.
