Joseph G. Miller, 83, husband of Lillian B. (Hunter) Miller of Barto, died on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in his home. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on May 3rd.
Born in Palm, he was a son of the late Edwin L. and Annetta (Chipakitis) Miller.
He was a woodworker for Bally Block Company, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church. He enjoyed house hold work, fishing and hunting.
Surviving along with his wife are a son, David J. Miller and wife, Joanne of Kutztown; two grandchildren, Jackson J. Miller and wife, Jennifer and granddaughter Mikhaila ; three great grandchildren, Alexandria, Savannah and Joseph Miller; a brother, Stanley P. Miller and wife, Helen of Mertztown; two sisters, Leanore Bauman of Bally and Anna M. Wetzel and husband, Nevin of Alburtis.
He was predeceased by a sister, the late Mary Miller and a brother, the late Edwin C. Miller.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine St., Bally PA 19503 with Monsignor Edward J. Coyle officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at church. Arrangements are by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
