Joseph F. Delano, Sr., 40, of Liberty Circle, Hereford, suddenly died on Thursday, August, 30, 2012 at his home.
Born in Bristol, PA he was a son of Linda (Renn) Delano Rothrock and step-son of William Rothrock, Sr. of Hereford and the late Harrison W. Delano.
He was an independent interstate truck driver.
Along with his mother, he is survived by a son, Joseph F. Delano, Jr. of Athens, Tennessee; two daughters, Tiffany Delano and Rachel Delano of Athens, Tennessee; a grandson, Bentley Melton of Athens, Tennessee; four brothers, Harry Delano, Jr. and wife, Linda of Levittown, Ken Delano and wife, Laura of Oklahoma, John Delano of Red Hill, Ronald Hood and wife, Evelyn of Selinsgrove; two step-brothers, Richard and Russ Rothrock; five sisters, LuAnn Sharpe of New York, Rose Marie Sokol, Wendy ShamBurger of Yardley, Patty Bowen of Selinsgrove and Millie Danhimer and husband, Scott of Shamokin; and several nieces and nephews.
