John-Raymond Seifried

April 30, 1973 — December 25, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden loss of John-Raymond Seifried. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend who passed away December 25, 2024, at the age of 51. Born April 30, 1973, in Philadelphia, he was the attentive son of Joseph, Sr. and Margaret "Peggy" (Curran) Seifried of Pennsburg. John lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to his family and friends.

John was a 1992 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. After working jobs at Acme and Ford, he completed his apprenticeship with CHI and became a journeyman electrician with Lederach Electric. He then went on to be a proud member of IBEW Local Union No. 98, where he worked as a dedicated union electrician. His strong work ethic and commitment to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of his co-workers.

John was married to his cherished wife, Laura (Fluck) Seifried, for 18 adventurous years. She was the love of his life, and together they built a strong, loving home. As a devoted father, he adored his two children, Jared and Julie. He always encouraged and inspired them to reach their fullest potential and instilled in them the values of hard work and perseverance. His love for his family was boundless, and he strived to be a remarkable provider and role model. His role as a father was one of his greatest joys, and he poured his heart into every moment spent with them.

In addition to his family, John treasured his friendships deeply. He was a true friend; loyal and steadfast. He had an innate ability to connect with others, and those fortunate enough to call him a friend knew that once John was in your corner, he was there for life. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with Andy, Carolyn, Dan, John R., John S., Brian M. and Brian N.; reminiscing with his "second mom" Carol; camping trips with Mike and talking guns with Pat. He had a kind heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, ensuring that no one around him ever struggled alone.

John also had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in fishing, canoeing, hiking, bike riding, and traveling. He relished every moment spent in nature and created countless memories with family and friends amidst the beauty of the great outdoors. Indoors, he tended to his fish aquariums nightly and grew plants within to create a beautiful display. He certainly had a wide range of interests.

In addition to his parents, wife and children, he is survived by his brother, Joseph Seifried, Jr. and wife, Christine; his nephew, Joshua; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends and his dog, Buxton.

A celebration of John's life hosted by the family will be held on January 11, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Jerusalem Evangelical Church Fellowship Hall, 733 Ridge Rd. Sellersville, Pa 18960. You may leave condolences and share memories by visiting www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
