John Robert “Bob” Nase, 74, husband of Shirley A. (Hinkle) Nase for 56 years on September 24th, of Telford Lutheran Home, formerly of Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, died April 2, 2011 at Grand View Hospital.
Born in Tylersport, he was a son of the late John L. and Hilda E. (Hafler) Nase.
He was a Sheet Metal Fabricator at the former Leeds and Northrup, North Wales for 40 years retiring in 1996.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ridge Valley and Souderton-Harleysville Fish and Game Association, Tylersport and a founding member of Wan-A-Buck Hunting Club, Tioga.
Surviving with his wife are 3 children, Brook S. Nase and wife, Dawn of Perkasie, Lt. Col., Ret., Brent R. Nase and wife, Janet of Prince George, VA and Brenda S, wife of Dale Moyer of Tylersport; a sister, Darlene M., wife of Terry Leidy of Sellersville; 8 grandchildren, Andrew Nase, Jennifer Moyer, Heather Moyer, Phillip Nase, Daniel Moyer, Stephen Nase, Colin Hanzlik and Megan Hanzlik-Nase.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church Ridge Valley, 910 Allentown Road, Sellersville with Rev. Amy Bender officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Call 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
