John Andrew “Johnny” Nalencz, Jr., 22, companion of Lauren Dippold, of Pennsburg, died in an auto accident on Thursday, February 14, 2013.
Born in Pottstown, he is a son of John A. Nalencz, Sr. and his fiancée, Sherri Downs of Phoenixville and Heather J. Kaiser of Birdsboro.
He attended Upper Perkiomen High School and was a cook at Chickie & Pete’s Restaurant in Audubon and previously had worked at Rockwell’s in Green Lane. He was a member of the Green Lane Fire Company and loved his friends and being outdoors.
He will be sadly missed by his father and mother, siblings, Kimberly F. Nalencz of Douglassville, Trevor W. Mathues, stationed at Ft. Lee, VA and Bradley T. Mathues of Pottstown; paternal grandmother, Nancy D. Kaicke and husband, Daniel of Phoenixville; maternal grandparents,Thomas W. Kaiser, Sr. of Elverson and Sharon K. Bailey of Birdsboro and maternal great-grandmothers, Geraldine Kaiser of Elverson and Dorothy Bath of Spring City. His grandfather, Jerry Nalencz predeceased him.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. next Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville followed by a graveside service and interment at 12 noon at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg with Rev.
