Joann M. Sweinhart, 69, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Grand View Hospital with her husband by her side. She was the loving wife of Bruce E. Sweinhart with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Annis (Joye) Kotulka.
Joann was a 1972 graduate of Quakertown High School and spent her working career as a senior underwriter with Nationwide, formerly Harleysville Insurance, for 35 years.
A wonderful wife and doating mother and grandmother, her greatest love was her family. Nothing put a smile on her face more than spending cherished time with her family. She will be remembered for her kind and generous heart and the fierce love she had for her husband, daughters and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Audrey, wife of Jeff Kelly and Alyson, wife of Andy Kurz; her five grandchildren, Hayden, Emmy, Finn, Mary and Colin; and her brother, Frank Kotulka; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sister, Patricia Skinner.
