Joan E. (Obermyer) Moses, 79, of Red Hill, widow of Willard Moses, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Pennsburg.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Viola (Kumpf) Obermeyer.
She worked as a blocker in the finishing department at Bally Ribbon Mill. Prior to that, she was a lens polisher at Plummer Precision Optics for many years.
Joan liked anything nautical-the beach, collecting seashells and lighthouses. She also enjoyed puzzles, flowers, country music and western movies. She was also known to donate to the SPCA, Lions Club and many ambulance organizations.
She is survived by her children, Rusty E. Moses and wife, Diana of Pine Grove and Rowdy E. Moses and wife, Donna of East Greenville; grandchildren, Melissa, Will, Carly, Carrie, Joel, Joshua, Sarah, Brittany, Ray, Rachael, Echo and Eden and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her children, Randy E., Robin E., Ray E. and Renee E. Moses and siblings Lucy and David.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, Inc, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
