Jeffrey R. “Jeff” Bricker, 43, of Orefield, died suddenly Sunday, July 14, 2013 in his home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Doreen E. (Bitting), wife of Barry E. Acker of Leland, NC and the late Charles J. Bricker and his widow, Janice Bricker of Birmingham, AL.
Jeff graduated from Parkland High School in 1988 and from Lincoln Technical Institute in 1991. He loved his girlfriend, Suzann Williams and their cat, Emma. He was a huge Flyers and Eagles Fan and enjoyed photography and listening to music.
He is survived by his mother; step-father; sister, Monica, widow of Timothy Haworth of East Greenville; two nieces, Sirena and Alyssa Hettrick and a nephew, Garrett Haworth, all of East Greenville; step-grandfather, Earl Acker of Slatington; step-mother; step-siblings, Kristen, wife of Brett Smith, Robert Wolf and wife, Johnnie Kay and Heather Wolf and step nieces and nephews, Lauren, Ryan, John L., Luke, and Sarah. Along with his father, he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Roger and Ruby (Miller) Bitting; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary (Duka) Bricker and step-grandmother, Louise Acker.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main Street, Pennsburg with the Rev. Charles Romanowski officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery.
