Jean H. (Creamer) Miller, 79, wife of Alan R. Miller, of Pennsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital – Bethlehem.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Hazel (Dorn) Creamer.
She was a high school graduate from Halahan High School. After high school she worked as a machine operator for Nice Ball Bearing Co. of Kulpsville.
She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Pennsburg and a member of the Living Word Fraternity, Secular Franciscan Order in Lansdale.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 27 ½ years are her children, Joanne Metzinger of Pennsburg; John M. Metzinger and wife, Karen of Pennsburg; and Michael J. Metzinger and wife, Florence; siblings, Richard Creamer and wife, Aisha; and Gertrude Barrett, both of Deptfort, NJ; 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Joseph, Vincent, George and Lillian Creamer
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.
