Jason L. “Leroy” Kulp, 47, of Boyertown and formerly of Pennsburg, died suddenly on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home. He was the fiancé of Michelle Baran, with whom he shared a home along with her two boys Cooper and Carter Campbell.

Jay, as he preferred to be called was an avid sports fan. You always knew when the Steelers, Flyers or Penn State were playing by the intensive commentary directing each play yelled from across the room and heard miles away.
He had an intense passion for music and knew the lyrics to every Grateful Dead song ever sung. He spent a portion of his youth touring them around the world. He had dance moves that could “Shake Down’ any street.
Jay loved nature. He walked barefoot and was connected deeply to the earth. He loved wilderness, hunting, bird watching, camping, ATV’s and motorcycle rides. He had a connection with animals and treasured his beloved dog Bradshaw Macho and 2 cats.
Jay was a “Superstar”. He brought an impeccable amount of energy to any gathering and loved to hug and bring smiles to everyone he encountered. His friendship was a treasure by all and his smile was contagious.
