Janet L. Piccirilli

Janet L. Piccirilli peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the Lutheran Topton Home at the age of 79.

Janet led a remarkable life as a devoted homemaker, finding joy in caring for her loved ones and creating a warm and loving home. Known for her culinary skills, she was a fabulous cook who enjoyed preparing delicious meals that brought her family together. Her love for the arts extended to her affection for singer Andrea Bocelli, and her creative pursuits included quilting, reading, writing and solving puzzles. Janet also had a deep passion for horses. From admiring their beauty to spending time around them, she found solace and joy in their presence. A woman of great insight and eloquence, she will be remembered for her intuitive nature and well-spoken demeanor.

For 59 years, Janet shared a deep and profound love with her husband, Lawrence Piccirilli, Sr., who adored her beyond measure. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of love and commitment. Janet held her family dear to her heart, especially her sons, children and grandchildren. Janet's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, but her spirit will live on in the cherished memories she leaves behind in her husband, Larry; children, Lawrence, Jr. and Geraldine Knaisch and husband, Eric; granddaughter, Christina Markley; and sister, Donna Echeverria.

She is predeceased by a grandson, Aaron Hein; and siblings, James Hoot, Marilyn Long and Blanche Bleam.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a burial following in Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery.
