Janet N. (Gilly) Johnson, of Pennsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Upper Bucks Campus. She was 79 years old.
Born in East Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Naomi (Hagenbuch) Gilly.
Janet started her career as a general laborer at Knoll, Inc. in East Greenville in 1980 and retired after 26 years in 2006. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg and a member of the Red Hill Fire Co.
She will be dearly missed by her four children, Glen Johnson and companion, Robin Schultz of East Greenville, PA, Christine Burns of East Greenville, Betty Schrantz and husband, Edwin of Bethlehem, PA and Lori Johnson of Quakertown, PA; nine grandchildren, Tara, Seth, Ashley, Bradley, Jordan, Christopher, Brittany, Ali and Ian; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Diane Bigley and husband, Randy of Pennsburg and Joan Kline of Barto, PA. She is predeceased by a sister, Shirley Cressman.
Services will be private at this time.
