Janet E. (Neiman) Fox, 85, widow of Gordon J. Fox, of Reading, and formally of Barto; where she lived most of her life; passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Reading.
Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Mabel (Brumbach) Neiman.
She worked many years as a Postal Clerk at the Barto Post Office before retiring.
She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Bally and the Church of St. Benedict in Mohnton.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonita “Bonnie” A., wife of Arden Ebling of Reading; four sisters, Evelyn Faust, Leatrice, wife of Robert Hetrick, Barbara Swartz and Judy Heidel, all of Pottstown; three grandchildren, Amy, wife of Adam Willey, Aaron Ebling and wife, Andrea and Adam Ebling and wife, Ashley; and four great grandchildren, Nicholas, Bradley, Anthony and Alina Ebling. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Dale Neiman and two sisters, Helen Arnold and Betty Lascala.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally with Monsignor Edward J. Coyle officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Monday at the church prior to the service.
